Winemaker
Vines have been grown at Bouscaut since the 17th century, in the Graves commune of Cadaujac, in the Pessac-Leognan appellation. Since 1979, the estate has been in the hands of the Lurton family, an influential name in the world of wine. Today, Sophie Lurton and her husband, Laurent Cogombles, strive to extract the very best from this original terroir. They have renovated almost everything: the winery, the cellar, planted new vines and bought out the neighboring Lamothe-Bouscaut estate.
