On May 8, 2024, Gard aux Chefs is organizing a lunch for 16 chefs on the Pont du Gard. Here's how to reserve your place.

It's an event not to be missed. On May 8, 2024, the Gard aux Chefs association will be organizing Via Gusto, an extraordinary lunch featuring 16 chefs, overlooking the world's oldest Roman aqueduct, the Pont du Gard. Who will be the participating chefs? And above all, how do you reserve your place? Here's everything you need to know.

Via Gusto: who are the participating chefs?

On May 8, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., a meal will be prepared on site by 16 chefs from the Gard region from very different backgrounds. The menu will feature 8 appetizers, including a cheese platter by Meilleur Ouvrier de France Vincent Vergne, and two desserts. A wine and food pairing will also be offered by a dozen winegrowers from the Gard region.

The event, organized to celebrate the "gastronomic meal of the French", listed as a UNESCO intangible heritage site since 2010, will bring together some of the chefs featured in the Gault&Millau:

  • Serge and Maxime Chenet; Entre Vigne et Garrigues in Pujaut (2 toques)
  • Vincent Croizard; Restaurant Vincent Croizard in Nîmes (2 toques)
  • Ludovic Davouze; La Villa Montesquieu, Laudun (1 toque)
  • Christophe Ducros; La Maison d'Uzès, Uzès (3 toques)
  • Matthieu Hervé; Le Cèdre de Montcaud, Sabran (2 toques)
  • Michel Kayser; Restaurant Alexandre, Garons (4 toques)
