Another year for this "blanc de rouges" cuvée from the fine terroirs of the Montagne de Reims, in a great vintage. We find the intensity, but above all the racy side of a champagne that combines the generosity of ripe yellow fruit aromas and toasty notes, with the freshness of fine origins. On the palate, the wine is once again generous, a far cry from some 2008s that tend towards austerity. A very fine champagne, both modern in approach and racy in substance.

Alain Thiénot founded the company in 1985, driven by his intimate knowledge of winegrowers, forged after twenty years' experience brokering grapes in Champagne, and also by the acquisition of prestigious vineyards in Grand Cru and Premier Cru, which became a major source of supply. The fine, fruity, fresh wines reflect a meticulous, artisanal savoir-faire, now supported by his children, Garance and Stanislas, along with cellar master Nicolas Uriel. Equally in search of perfection, curious and open-minded, they breathe their touch of modernity into the house, while respecting its eminently Champagne style.
